We are excited to announce that gSpin Technologies, in partnership with Dr. Thomas Ernst, has been selected to receive a Maryland Industrial Partnerships (MIPS) award for the project "Testing of MRI RF Coil and Parametric Amplifiers."
The award, totaling $75,192, supports a collaborative research effort between the company and its university partner. The project will also be eligible for follow-on Phase II funding after the first year, based on research results and business progress.
The MIPS program, administered by the University of Maryland, promotes the commercialization of advanced technology through university–industry partnerships and works to strengthen Maryland's economy. This award reflects the strength of gSpin's technology and the promise of its work advancing MRI radiofrequency coil and parametric amplifier development.
